Physician Services Payment Committee
The Committee has the responsibility for making recommendations to the Minister with respect to amendments to the schedule of benefits and other physician payment programs, and in particular: makes timely and appropriate recommendations to amend the schedule of fees and other payment programs to reflect current medical practice and meet the needs of the health care system; conducts specialty specific or service specific reviews; provides its opinion on any proposed amendments to the schedule of benefits, on the request of the General Manager.
