The Health System Information Management and Investment Division (HSIMI) provides health information, funding policies and investment funding options which enables evidence-based decision making to ensure a sustainable health care system for Ontario residents. This includes : defining authoritative data and information sources; developing information management products, standards and services; enabling improved information access, use and updates; developing funding policies and analytical tools to support investment decision-making ; developing funding models and recommended levels of investment; and liaising with eHealth Ontario to provide a single province wide e-health strategy.
