Ontario Health Plan for an Influenza Pandemic 2008

The Ontario Health Plan for an Influenza Pandemic (OHPIP) is under review to incorporate lessons learned from the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic.

The 2008 OHPIP can be viewed or downloaded in its entirety or by individual sections. There is also an executive summary  [PDF] and a collection of frequently asked questions available for download.

The OHPIP in Brief  [PDF] is also available. It provides individuals with an overview of the full version of the OHPIP and is designed to better inform local preparedness and response planning.

ADDENDUM : September 23, 2008

  • Chapter 18A - Table 1 on the Diagnosing and Managing Paediatric Influenza fact sheet (pg. 18A-14) and the Antiviral Therapy Table on the Paediatric Pandemic Influenza Office Assessment Form (page 18A-18) were updated to give greater clarity on the recommended antiviral doses for children.
