The Health Professions Regulatory Advisory Council (HPRAC) recently submitted advice to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care:
Interprofessional collaboration is critical to making the most of health human resources, streamlining professional roles, and improving system efficiency and quality of health.
In developing its report, HPRAC examined other jurisdictions, conducted a jurisprudence review of North American decisions, reviewed written submissions and published literature, and carried out meetings, site visits, and interviews with stakeholders and experts across Ontario.
The Minister is now seeking public input on the recommendations contained in this report.
