June 20, 2011
The Registration and Claims Branch (branch) is committed to delivering the best service possible during the current postal disruption. A full postal disruption began on June 15, 2011 which interrupts regular mail delivery.
This internet site will continue to be updated as new information is available. Each OHIP claims office has updated its automated telephone message (where possible) to provide clients with service delivery information and the branch's efforts to continue to provide excellent service.
The branch encourages those health care providers not currently using Electronic Data Transfer (EDT) or direct deposit to register for these services. Registering for these convenient electronic services will ensure secure transfer of data and will eliminate any payment delays.
During the postal disruption, the branch will not be able to send or receive mail. When the strike is over, mail service will resume.
Correspondence normally sent by Canada Post is being held at this time (see below for specific details).
You may drop off or courier mail to your local OHIP claims office during the strike.
