Clinical Practice Guidelines Database

The Canadian Diabetes Association is proud to announce, in partnership and funded by the Government of Ontario through the Ontario Diabetes Strategy, the new searchable Clinical Practice Guidelines database, which is housed on the Association’s website at www.diabetes.ca.

Published every five years, the Canadian Diabetes Association’s Clinical Practice Guidelines represents the best and most current evidence-based clinical practice data for healthcare professionals.

This collaboration will help facilitate electronic access to Clinical Practice Guidelines for effective management of diabetes. Diabetes service providers will be able to easily search for and access evidence based clinical guidelines/recommendations to inform adoption of best practices and support better health outcomes for people living with diabetes.

The new searchable Clinical Practice Guidelines are available at www.diabetes.ca/for-professionals/resources/2008-cpg/ and at the Stand Up to Diabetes website.
